Justin Figueroa Gets Freddy Espinoza Out in Three Rounds!
Junior middleweight prospect Justin “Just In Time” Figueroa (10-0, 8KO) ran over Freddy Espinoza (10-6, 7KO) with ease to remain undefeated.
Fighting in front of the home crowd, Figueroa was on fire and clicking on all cylinders. His Jab, defense, and counterpunching were on a far different level than replacement fighter Espinoza.
Figueroa couldn’t miss with the left hook before landing the righthand. As the fight continued, he attacked the body with ruthless aggression. Yet, Espinoza was game and fought back valiantly by throwing body shots of his own. In addition, the Nicaraguan landed a few hard shots that seemed to have turned the momentum in his favor.
In round three, Just In Time landed an uppercut that took the fight out of Espinoza, who quickly retreated to the ropes. Realizing his opponent was ready to go, Figueroa poured on the offense with a barrage of punches that forced the referee to stop the fight.
The undefeated prospect looks to be the goods as he makes some noise in a talent-rich division.
