Taylor Defends Her Title
WBA lightweight champion Katie Taylor defends her title against Chicago native and 33 yr old Jessica McCaskill at York Hall, Bethnal Green.
Taylor, who won her first major pro title to go along with a good amateur career is looking to silence the challenger who has been calling her out. Taylor says her opponent is as relentless in the ring as she has been outside of it.
McCaskill is making a huge step up by persuing and accepting this challenge.She has shownno signs of fear or doubt in preparation for this opportunity. McCaskill has stated she has respect for Taylor but will be returning home with both respect andthetitle with her.
