Cuadras hopes to return to form
Fresh off of finishing his rehabilitation former WBC super flyweight champion Carlos Cuadras is ready to get back in the mix.
The Mexican star has lost back to back fights and three out of his last four. He checked into to rehab to try and correct his recreational drug and alcohol problems.
In his most recent fight which took place on the Super Flyweight 2 card in February, Cuadras was upset by McWilliams Arroyo where he lost a ten round majority decision.
Cuadras, who is arguably one of boxing’s most talented fighters has been in the ring with a gauntlet of very good fighters. From former P4P kingpin Roman Gonzalez, Juan Francisco Estrada to the aforementioned Arroyo, he has faced the best his division has to offer.
Cuadras actually holds a victory over the guy who many feel is the best super flyweight in the world, WBC champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisiai.
Hopefully, he has overcome his personal demons and is able to work himself back into contention, because when he’s clicking on all cylinders he’s a very tough guy to beat.
