Teofimo Lopez Says Crawford Is The Boss Of Stevenson & Davis

WBO junior welterweight champion “The Takeover ” Teofimo Lopez (20-1, 13KO) has been feuding with fellow stablemates Shakur “Fearless” Stevenson and “The Businessman” Keyshawn Davis.  The Takeover claimed they are upset that he wants to fight unified welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford (40-0, 31 KO).

A QUICK LOOK BACK

This situation between all parties involved has escalated, and Lopez’s recent comments will put more gas on the fire. Bud went after the current WBO champion for criticizing his undisputed run at welterweight.

WBC lightweight champion Stevenson (21-0, 10KO) took issue with Lopez for bad-mouthing his performance against Edwin De Los Santos. He quickly took to social media to return the favor when the WBO champion received a gift decision over Jamaine Ortiz.

Top rated lightweight contender Davis caught the wrath of the Brooklyn, New Yorker after backing Crawford to be the victor if they were to fight. After defeating Jose Pedraza with a statement-making stoppage, The Businessman immediately challenged Lopez to a showdown.

SHOTS FIRED AGAIN

While speaking with Punsh Drunk Boxing, The Takeover dismissed all this as clout chasing by the two fighters.

“It’s all clout. They don’t want me to fight their big boy. They don’t want me to fight their Mack Daddy, who is Terence Bud Crawford. He’s the mack daddy of all those guys.” (TIME STAMP :30-:50)

Teofimo Lopez

Lopez’s statement will undoubtedly trigger a serious response from Stevenson and Davis once they get wind of it. This feud has been entertaining, but in reality it’s unlikely they will ever settle this in the ring.

Despite coming under heavy fire for a bad performance in his last outing, The Takeover’s confidence continues to rise. The next couple of weeks should be fun as the responses from all parties involved will keep fans glued to their phones.
