Montgomery Runs Over Lukas Wants A Ranked Opponent Next
Lightweight prospect Maliek “Mayhem” Montgomery (20-0, 18KO) washed veteran Sakaria “Desert Storm” Lukas (26-3-1, 18KO) in a brutal one-sided beatdown.
Mayhem relentlessly attacked Desert Storm with ruthless aggression. He landed hard shots to the body and head while forcing the veteran against the ropes.
In round two, his punch output went into overdrive. He landed hard body shots that sent Lukas to the canvas. Montgomery continued to assault Lukas with more power shots that put the Namibian on the canvas again in the third round.
In the fourth round, Montgomery put an end to the fight with a body shot that left Lukas in the fetal position. In the post-fight interview, the confident youngster said he wants to fight a champion in the junior lightweight division.
A decorated amateur, Montgomery shared the ring with Bruce Carrington, Elijah Pierce, Joseph Adorno, and two-division champion Teofimo Lopez in the amateurs. This explains why the young man’s confidence and skillset is off the charts.
