Billy Joe Saunders signs with Eddie Hearn in Matchroom Boxing!
UPDATE: Billy Joe Saunders has officially signed with Matchroom Boxing!
In an expected move shortly after the amicable split with Queensberry Promotions head Frank Warren, 3kingsboxing.com has learned WBO super middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders has signed a promotional deal with Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing.
This move seemed to be the most logical move since Hearn has more of a reach towards getting the super middleweight champion the match-ups he is looking for.
Names like Canelo Alvarez, Gennady Golovkin, Demetrius Andrade, Callum Smith and Daniel Jacobs are now bouts that can be made for him with relative ease.
While an official announcement hasn’t been made, Saunders cosigned a post on social media made by Hearn who teased a huge signing to be revealed August 13 at a press conference in London.
