Jarrell Miller ends his silence on the failed drug test!
Heavyweight contender Jarrell Miller finally made a public statement regarding his failed VADA test. The New York native said:
“I am absolutely devastated upon hearing the news my boxing license has been revoked in NY State and I will be vigorously appealing this decision.
“I have NEVER knowingly taken any banned substance and when I found out the news I was totally shocked.
“My team and I stand for integrity, decency, and honesty and together we will stand to fight this with everything we have!
“Remember don’t believe everything you hear and see. The facts will prevail and I shall be vindicated!”
To most fans and pundits these words ring hollow in lieu of his repeated accusations that Anthony Joshua is a drug cheat. Miller may never be able to recover as this is the second time he’s failed a drug test (the first being when he was a kick-boxer).
The biggest takeaway from Miller’s comments is that he claims to not have “knowingly” taken any banned substances and that they’ll be appealing the NYSAC ruling!
