Jarrell Miller closing in on deal with Top Rank!
3kingsboxing.com has learned that heavyweight contender Jarrell Miller is in advanced negotiations with Top Rank that would be a multi-fight deal if finalized.
There’s hopes on both sides that a deal can be reached in the near future. This news shouldn’t come as a surprise as Miller was mentioned by Tyson Fury as a possible opponent. However, with his suspension not being up until October, that prevented that matchup from happening.
He was also in attendance at the Tyson Fury vs Tom Schawrz fight on June 15, where he took a picture with Bob Arum. That in itself ramped up speculation that two could be soon in business together.
This is a logical move by both sides as Fury will need a viable respected heavyweight with a name. For Miller this gives him an opportunity to potentially face Fury in a high profile fight.
With Miller looking to return to the ring ASAP, that may force a deal to get done quickly.
This would be Miller’s chance at a fresh start with a top notch promoter in Bob Arum and Top Rank.
