Luis Nery to fight on Pacquiao-Thurman under-card!

Former WBC bantamweight champion Luis Nery will be fighting on his second consecutive pay-per-view undercard.

Initially, Joshua Franco (15-1-1, 7KOs) was reported as the expected opponent. However, 3kingsboxing.comhas learned two other, more lucrative names have been added to the list of possible opponents.

Former champions Rau’shee Warren and Carlos Payano are the current front runners to land the fight. Either bout would be respectable as the opening bout of the pay-per-view.

Nery put on a dazzling performance against former champion McJoe Arroyo back in March on the under-card of Errol Spence vs Mikey Garcia. Since then, the controversial former champion has been looking for bigger and better fights.

A win against Warren or Payano would certainly put him in prime position for a title opportunity later this year or in 2020.
