Lawrence Okolie and Dillian Whyte trade words over social media
One of the top crusierweight prospects in the world, Lawrence Okolie (11-0, 8KO) appears to be fishing for a bigger foe to prove himself against.
Okolie went on twitter and stated he believes he would beat top heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte.
Those words obviously didn’t sit well with Whyte, who quickly responded.
After a brief back-and-forth, Okolie tweeted that he was off to train for his upcoming fight with Wadi Camacho. That match takes place March 23.

It’s great to hear the cruiserweight wants to test himself against a bigger man. However, he needs to focus on continuing to improve his craft as he has tons of opportunities down the line in his division.
It’ll be interesting to see if he has that same energy face to face with Whyte as he did on Twitter.
