Manny Pacquiao hits back at Floyd Mayweather over old man comments!
Five years after their anticlimactic match-up and after many years of crazed anticipation, living legends Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao are still at it! Well kinda…
Pacquiao 41 (62-7-2, 39KOs) has hit back at his retired nemesis over some comments he made a few weeks ago regarding young fighters still pursuing a fight with a “old man”.
PAC-MAN CLAIMS MONEY MAY IS ENVIOUS!
He told The Manila Times the following.
“He is just envious because he’s already retired. We’re still active! No retirement yet, no problem. I’m still training!”
PAC-MAN STILL GOT IT!
It’s clear that Pacquiao still has more than enough gas left in the tank to not only compete but win against the young top guns at 147. This evident after picking up a huge victory in July of 2019 over previously unbeaten Keith “One Time” Thurman (29-1, 22KOs) to snatch his WBA welterweight title away.
In recent news, there have been rumblings of the fourty-one year old looking to take down another undefeated champion in WBO title holder Terence Crawford (36-0, 27KO). According to Top Rank promotions chairman Bob Arum, the fight is currently under negotiations to take place in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, it’ll be interesting to hear what Floyd has to say in response.
