Paris Fury Hopes Husband Tyson Fury Retires After Fight with Dillian Whyte!
When it comes to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 23KOs), he can be a bit unpredictable. As one of boxing’s best on the microphone, he oftentimes says things for shock value, and in other cases, his words ring true. When it comes to his future after his fight with Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19KOs), it remains uncertain.
During fight week, Fury stated that after his second defense of his WBC title against Whyte, he’s retiring. He feels as if he has nothing left to prove. Some would disagree, considering a fight with the winner of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua 2 has major appeal as a chance to crown an undisputed heavyweight champion. People in Fury’s corner could urge him to fight once more for the ultimate prize of undisputed status. However, if you ask his wife, Paris Fury, she hopes he hangs up the gloves.

Speaking with IFL TV, she said the following when asked whether she thinks her husband will retire.
“I think if the AJ fight comes up, he’ll take it. But other than that, I don’t think he’ll come back. I think he’ll stay out of the ring. I hope so. “
Obviously, Mrs. Fury’s comments come from a place of love, as it has to be tough to see her husband take blows to the head for a living. While he’s made a significant amount of money, the two have six kids, and Fury often talks about maintaining his health for the aftermath of his career to be able to help raise his children after his career is over with.
While you just never know when it comes to Fury, this writer feels that he’ll hold out for one more fight. Because of the prideful guy he is, it’s hard to envision Fury just walking away from a chance to become undisputed heavyweight champion and go down in history as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. Also, he would be viewed as the overwhelming favorite against either Usyk or Joshua.
