Parker vs Williams set to do battle in Glasgow!
Undefeated U.K fighters Zach Parker (16-0, 11KO) and Darryll Williams (17-0, 7KO) will battle for the vacant BBBofC super-middleweight title.
Parker (24), will be fighting for his first British title, having proved the “big moment” doesn’t bother him. Victories over quality opponents like Luke Blackledge and Adasat Rodriguez in step up fights.
The top 10 rated fighter could make a jump in the rankings with a statement victory. Although he has the height, reach, power and experience advantage, he still shouldn’t overlook his opponent as the next big move starts with the current challenger.
Williams (28), previously held the British title but retired suddenly in 2017 due to frustration with his team. He returned from retirement in June with a second round knockout over Raimonds Sniedze.
A victory over a top rated opponent could see him finally break into the system; despite victories in a step-up bouts against Jahmaine Smyle. Critics still believe there is more he needs to prove to gain the recognition he feels he deserves.
