Jean Pascal-Badou Jack in the works For December
3kingsboxing.com has learned that newly crowned WBA regular light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal and former WBC super middleweight and WBA light heavyweight champion Badou Jack are in advanced negotiations for a possible December fight.
Pascal who pulled off a minor upset back in August against the favored Marcus Browne. He dropped the 2012 Olympian multiple times en route to a technical decision win. As for Jack, he hasn’t fought since suffering a one-sided defeat against the aforementioned Browne back in January. In that fight, he suffered a nasty cut in the middle of his forehead.
This fight poses intrigue due to the fact that Pascal showed he’s still capable of not only being able to compete but also defeat guys much younger than he is. However, all eyes will be on Jack heading into this fight, who looked like a shell of himself against Browne. If he’s 100 percent healthy and clicking on all cylinders, it’ll be a competitive entertaining bout between the two veterans.
3kingsboxing.com will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
