In the wake of his failed PED’s test, Jean Pascal pleads innocence!

When boxers are busted using PED’s, in most cases they inherently declare foul play. This is the exact route that light heavyweight pugilist Jean Pascal (35-6-1, 20 KO’s) is taking. The Haitian native recently made big news after failing a drug test leading into his rematch with Badou “The Ripper” Jack (23-3-3, 13 KO’s). As a result, their bout was swiftly scrapped and Jack is currently searching for a last minute replacement.

The Ripper was the first to reveal the disappointing news via his social media. Obviously Jack was angered and disappointed by the unfortunate turn of events. Denied the opportunity to sock Pascal in the face, Jack has continued to lambast him on his various social media outlets.

IT’S WASN’T ME!!

In response to the extremely bad press that he is receiving, Pascal has forcefully denied any purposeful wrong doing. Similar to Jack, the Haitian has alibied for his innocence via his social media. Whether true of not, it remains to be seen. Pascal has offered up his strength and condition coach as a sacrificial lamb. In declaring his innocence, and ignorance of knowingly ingesting illegal substances, Pascal revealed that he has fired said S&C coach.

The Haitian acknowledges that anything he says at this time will be met with severe skepticism. Even still, he promises he will do whatever is necessary to restore his good name. To begin Pascal, has proposed to personally pay for year-round drug testing. Yet, as he said himself, at this point in the game he will be hard pressed to sway the current perception. It certainly does not help that he was flagged for three separate substances! Regardless of what his fate is revealed to be, 3kingsboxing will continue to report the latest updates.
