PBC vs Showtime War Coming?
Currently, the world awaits a formal official announcement of the Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz WBC heavyweight rematch.
Simultaneously, there’s growing speculation that during the live telecast of the welterweight unification bout between Errol Spence and Shawn Porter, that the rematch will be announced.
That’s not the big news, however. The huge news is that the fight between the two powerful heavyweights will take place on Fox instead of Showtime.
If that’s indeed the case, gear up for an all-out war between Showtime and PBC. Showtime reportedly will be so upset by this that they will cut ties with PBC altogether.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, however. Wilder pledged loyalty to Showtime and Stephen Espinoza at his press conference in May to announce his fight with Dominic Breazeale. In subsequent interviews, he also maintained that he was a free agent.
Wilder has fought his last four fights on either Showtime or Showtime PPV. That was after Wilder turned down a three-fight $100 million deal from DAZN that would include two fights against then-unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
At this point, it’s all speculation, but you know how the old saying goes: “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

Ya I get both channels so it doesn’t matter that much, but I prefer to see More Fights on SHO. I like their crew. Of course, with Fox/FS1, I can Watch at home Or at Bar, with SHO, I can only Watch at home (Most Bars dont get SHO). But still I prefer the SHO crew if possible.
