Caleb Plant warns Canelo Alvarez he’s going to be in his face on fight night!
As fight week rolls on and we inch closer and closer to the huge super middleweight undisputed showdown between Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant, both men double down on their predictions of pain and victory.
Both fighters made their grand arrivals ahead of their November 6 fight. Talking to media, Plant was reminded that Alvarez feels he’s going to knock him out. Supremely confident, Plant refuses to acknowledge that as a possibility. The Nashville, Tennessee native has told any and everyone willing to listen that he’s being severely underestimated heading into this fight.

The consensus is that the unbeaten champion will simply be overwhelmed by Alvarez, who comes into this matchup with a wealth of big fight experience. However, Plant and his team feels otherwise. They’re confident that his skillset, speed and athleticism will be too much for the unified champion.
WELL-STOCKED CONFIDENCE
Speaking to Fight Hub TV, Plant said the following about feeling overlooked and underestimated by Canelo Alvarez:
“I don’t know, I can’t speak for him. the only person I speak for is myself and my team. But Saturday November 6, he’s going to find out for sure. I’m going to be right up in his face.”
If confidence and self belief won you fights, this would be a draw. However, it doesn’t. Plant’s refusal to give in to the notion that Alvarez should be the favorite is something to be respected. While he acknowledges him as the great fighter he is, he views himself as not equal but better. The bravado from Caleb Plant has made this fight extremely interesting. If he can back up his pre-fight words with fight night actions, we may be in for a great night of action come November 6.
Regardless of what’s said now, fight night is almost upon us, and the only talking that matters is when both men step in that ring.
