Caleb Plant will return home for his second title defense!

IBF super-middleweight champion Caleb “Sweethands” Plant (19-0, 11KO) will be making his second title defense in front of his hometown crowd in Nashville, Tennessee against Vincent Feigenbutz (31-2, 28KO).

The 27-year-old Tennessee native has been very excited about making a title defense in his hometown and has taken to social media to let all the fans know to get ready.

Besides the pressure of fighting at home, keep in mind the IBF champion is on a collision course with WBC champion David “El Bandera Roja” Benavidez.

A fight many inside the boxing community believe is the blockbuster bout in the division. However, until they lock horns, the IBF champ must take care of the unknown German fighter.

Feigenbutz is currently ranked #3 by the organization and is on a ten fight win streak. This is familiar territory for him after failing to defeat Giovanni De Carolis for the WBA “regular” title back in 2016.

The former title contender is highly motivated and looking to shake off the demons of the last ill-fated championship attempt. He’s hopeful to have learned from that experience two years ago and ready to seize the moment in his first fight on US soil.

The bout is scheduled to take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on February 15th live on FOX!
