Raymond Muratalla Destroys Jesus Perez In 2 Quick rounds
Top lightweight contender Raymond “Danger” Muratalla (22-0, 17KO) made a statement by running over Jesus “Ricky” Perez (25-6, 18KO) in two rounds.
Danger gave boxing fans a reason to mention his name throughout the weekend. He came out on a mission landing those power shots often and early.
He built everything off the jab, followed by several right hands that put Perez on the canvas in the second round.
Despite his opponent getting up, Muratalla attacked repeatedly with hard shots that put Perez back on the canvas. After witnessing the undefeated fighter land two more hard shots, the referee waved off the contest.
This was the performance Muratalla needed – becoming the only man to stop the tough veteran. Keep in mind Perez has been in the ring with some of the more well-known names in boxing.
Believing he should be fighting for a world title, Muratalla wasted no time in making it clear a title fight must be next. He called out champions Shakur Stevenson, Vasyl Lomachenko, and Denys Berinchyk. However, he could be fighting for the vacant IBF title, provided rumors are true that Lomachenko retires.
