WBA interim lightweight champion Rolando “Rolly” Romero (14-0, 12KOs) is as confident as they come! He also packs the power to back up his bold statements.
After breaking down and stopping late replacement, Anthony “Can You Dig It” Yigit (24-2-1, 8KOs) in seven rounds, the unbeaten fighter put WBA “regular” junior welterweight/lightweight and WBA “super” junior lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (25-0, 24KOs) on notice!

“I want Gervonta Davis at 140. I will stop him! Knock him out!”
Not one to mince words, the unbeaten fighter has called out pretty much every fighter in his division. Romero has even proposed the idea of a lightweight tournament featuring him and the biggest names in the division. With no luck, he’s ready to move up and try his hand against a fellow power puncher and stablemate.

The possibility of a Davis vs Romero fight would be intriguing considering both styles and their ability to get their opponents out of there at any moment. With Rolly holding the WBA interim title, it is not uncommon to see the interim and regular title holders lock horns. Additionally, both are under the “The Money Team” (TMT) banner headed by Floyd Mayweather and Leonard Ellerbe.
