Rolando Romero drops sparring video as proof he man-handled Ryan Garcia!
Retired five division champion, TMT head and arguably the best fighter of this era, Floyd Mayweather Jr accused Golden Boy Promotions top lightweight prospect Ryan “KingRy” Garcia (20-0, 17KO) of being afraid to face his fighter Rolando “Rolly” Romero (11-0, 10KO). The TMT boss stated that Garcia was roughed up so bad by Romero that he ran out of the gym.
As proof, Rolly dropped the sparring session on social media. However, the session took place more than a year ago!
Garcia has been very vocal about wanting to fight WBA regular lightweight and former two-time junior lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (23-0, 22KO) by December of 2020. However, Mayweather is equally adamant at putting Romero in front of Davis as the Golden Boy prospects “test” before offering Davis.
