Andy Ruiz to Anthony Joshua: “I’m coming for those belts!”

Former Cruiserweight contender Michael Hunter seems to be the front-runner for Anthony Joshua on June 1 but now a new contender has been added to consideration.

WBA #11 and IBF #15 ranked contender Andy Ruiz just fought on April 20, stopping Alexander Dimitrenko in five. However, he seems to be more than willing to face Joshua in a quick turn of events!

Immediately after his win, he took to social media making the following posts which caught the attention of many!

The former title challenger also had this to say:

“June 1st we ready. I’m coming for those belts. That WBO belt belongs to me. Everyone knows I beat Parker.”

Now, there have been reports that Ruiz is actually being considered as the man to fill-in for Jarrell Miller! Additionally, Eddie Hearn will be holding a meeting with the American this week to proceed further with negotiations.

If this fight is made, it would be a MAJOR turn of events and possibly one that will be met with much criticism.

The fact Ruiz just fought may be a key factor in concluding that this is just some good ‘ol trolling. Although, in boxing, you never know!

3kingsboxing.comwill definitely provide an update as an official announcement is made on the replacement.
