Tyson Fury Should Be 100% by December 15!

Ahead of his highly anticipated rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, scheduled to take place on February 22, 2020, the lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury took on what was thought to be simply an over-matched and unproven adversary in Otto Wallin.

However, what happened on that September 15 night damn near ruined the highly anticipated heavyweight sequel. In round three, Wallin landed a left-hand that opened up a gruesome cut over the right-eye of Fury. The gruesome cut would require 50 stitches to close the gash. Fast-forward a few months later and the cut’s healing process apparently is nearly complete! Tyson Fury told BT Sports Boxing that the cut should be healed by December 15.

“December 15, I should be 100 percent healed and back in action.”

He also revealed that his training camp will start on January 10. This is very interesting considering the magnitude of this fight. So a six-week training camp looks to be in play for the lineal champion as he looks to dethrone the WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
