Russell Jr sends offer to Crawford!

If there is one thing that cannot be denied about WBC world featherweight champion “Mr.” Gary Russell Jr (31-1, 18 KO’s), it’s his consistency! When the DC native gets his mind stuck on a target, it’s extremely hard to get him off his focus. Currently, Russell is dead set on putting together a fight with WBO world welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford (36-0, 27 KO’s).

Admittedly, outside of Team Russell and his immediate family, there is essentially no one on planet Earth asking for Crawford v Russell Jr. Going a step further, outside of his team and blood relatives, there is probably next to no one on the globe that believes he can win that fight. Yet, this has not stopped the WBC featherweight champion from trying to put it together anyway.

WHAT YOU GONNA DO?!?

After initially calling out Bud, Gary Russell Jr took to his social media to let it be known that he had a verbal conversation with PBC mastermind Al Haymon. Now, Mr. is back to alert the world that he has gone on to sending over tangible paper work. He took to his social media to give the boxing world an update on the situation.

“I got some good news y’all, I’m kind of excited, but I don’t know! Second conversation with Al Haymon about Terence Crawford. It’s official that we made an offer and it’s been sent to Mr. Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford.”

“Terence, what’s up? Let’s go ahead and settle this shit once and for all. And let’s show the fans what really would have happened if you would have attempted to fight back when I punched you in the mouth. Let’s do this shit in front everybody and show them what really would have happened. Y’all see what it is, I’m in the dungeon, this shit is real.”

“So once again, all we doing is waiting on a response. So if the fight don’t happen, I want the fans and everybody out here, all the sucka-ass, punk-ass haters and doubters and all that that’s out here to understand that it didn’t happen because Terence Crawford didn’t want to make the fight. Point-blank period, the ball is in y’all court now, make something happen slim.”

The back and forth is certainly fun. Although, it would not be a good idea waiting on Crawford to sign the contract!
