Estrada Aiming To Take Down Yudica & Move On To Undisputed!
Unified minimumweight champion Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada (24-0, 9 KO’s) continues her path to undisputed as she will defend her status against former IBF flyweight champion Leonela Yudica (19-1-3. 1 KO’s) on July 28. This bout has largely been overshadowed by the Errol Spence vs Terence Crawford rumble because that bout is happening on the same weekend and in the same city of Las Vegas. Nevertheless, when Estrada steps into the ring, notice should be taken!
In her duel with Yudica, Estrada will make the third defense of her WBA title, and first defense of the WBC strap which she claimed in a shutout of Tina Rupprecht in March. Now the two-division champion will look to rough up and further stymie the career of Yudica.
Heading into her prizefight with Super Bad, Yudica defeated Tamara Demarco in April. This will be her second match in the US. The Argentinian challenger is looking to become a champion again.
Boxing fans can expect Super Bad to bring her A-game with a possible undisputed showdown against unified champion Yokaste Valle looming. Before fighting Yudica, the Californian sent a message to her rival that a beatdown is heading in her direction.
