Amanda Serrano looking to win 6th divisional title!

Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano will take on Yamila Esther Reynoso on the undercard of Garcia/Porter September 8. This match will be for the vacant WBO Super lightweight title.

If victorious, she will be one of only three fighters in history to win titles in six different weight classes.

In addition, she will be the only female to achieve the accolade (Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya are the other two).

Serrano boasts an impressive record of 34-1-1 with 26 knockouts. Her only loss coming from Frida Wallberg in 2012. This being a loss she can never avenge since Wallberg retired in 2013 due to cerebral hemorrhage in a loss to Diana Prazak.

As of now, Serrano is seen by the boxing consensus as a top two pound for pound fighter in the women’s professional circuit. She is arguably only behind undefeated and undisputed welterweight champion, Cecilia Braekhus.

Catch these two warriors go at it on Showtime, September 9 7pm ET.
