Errol Spence: You can’t break down what can’t be broken!
Everybody has been patiently waiting to hear from the unified welterweight champion Errol “The Truth” (26-0, 21KOs) Spence following his horrific car crash in October.
By now, most have seen multiple video angles of the terrifying crash over social media. Spence was ejected from his car but managed to escape with only minor injuries.
SPENCE SPEAKS
The welterweight numero uno posted to social media via his Snapchat account of his impending return.
“You can’t break what can’t be broken been ready for 2020!!”
“Summer 2020.”
Initially, he was to face former two-division world champion Danny “Swift” Garcia (35-2,21KOs) on January 25.
Now with him eyeing a summer return, it appears that he may fight anywhere between June and September. I expect a return closer to September to allow the Texas native the maximum time to fully heal from his injuries. Not only physically, but mentally as well.
