Spence vs Garcia deal close to being done!
3kingsboxing.com has learned that IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence and current unified lightweight champion Mikey Garcia are close to finalizing a deal to meet in first quarter of next year.
Garcia has constantly called out the welterweight champion since defeating Robert Easter Jr in July. Fans and pundits have been in disagreement on the competitive nature of this fight.
Most feel Spence is simply too big and strong for Garcia. On the contrary, others feel the much more experienced and technical Garcia presents a legitimate threat.
The bout is likely to take place on Showtime Pay-Per-View, however, all of the logistics still need to be ironed out.
