Stevenson set to return on the Crawford-Benavidez undercard
Undefeated featherweight prospect Shakur Stevenson (8-0, 4KOs) will return to the ring October 13 against Duarn Vue (14-1-2, 4KOs). The fight will take place on the undercard of WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford’s first title defense against Jose Benavidez.
The New Jersey prospect was last in the ring in August where he defeated Carlos Ruiz by unanimous decision. The southpaw prospect is one of boxing’s bright young stars. His opponent Vue has suffered only one defeat in his career at the hands of Alejandro Salina a year ago.
Vue figures to be a tough durable opponent for Stevenson who looks to continue his rise from prospect status to contender.
