The fight ended in a brutal eleven round knockout in which Stevenson was the recipient of numerous blows to the head. The former WBC champion had been looking to make his tenth successful defense of his title.

As of now, it’s unclear if the 41 year-old will continue to fight. He hasn’t taken much punishment throughout his twelve year career, however, this could be a sign that it may be time to retire.
