Talks Ongoing For Broner-Vargas 2?

A rematch between former champions looks likely

Jessie Vargas has revealed that a deal is close to being finalized for him to face Adrien Broner in a rematch. The two fought to a draw back in April in a back and forth contest.

The first fight was fought at a catchweight of 144 lbs, whether or not this time around the fight will be fought at the full welterweight limit is yet to be determined. I personally feel that it will be at the same weight that they fought at in the first fight.

The bout itself was competitive enough to warrant a rematch, as many in the crowd and watching at home could of made a case for either man getting the victory. The fighters exchanged words in the post fight interview which can make for a nice lead up to the rematch.

Broner and Vargas both need this fight as they’re both sort of at a crossroads point in their respective careers. Broner recently publicly feuded and turned down a three fight deal from Eddie Hearn which most believe he should’ve took or at least handled a bit differently.

Vargas is eager to prove himself, a former world champion that loss to two guys in Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao that are likely headed to Canastota. He however feels the need to want to prove himself and show that he deserves to be competing with the top names.

Broner can give Vargas that with a victory among casual fans. However, should Broner win one has to wonder what weight class will Broner fight in?

Vargas-Broner 2 who will win? What can either guy do different? Before we get too deep into it let’s have it announced first. 3KingsBoxing.com will give an update as soon as more information becomes available.
