Keith Thurman says he wants Terence Crawford next
Former unified welterweight champion Keith “One Time” Thurman (29-1, 22ko) is still one of the top names in the division, despite suffering his first career setback to WBA “super” champion Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39ko).
Thurman has made it clear a rematch with the Filipino senator would be ideal. However, there are still other options he can explore.
AVAILABLE CHOICES!
Of course, there is unified champion Errol “The Truth” Spence (26-0, 21ko). Now that the roles are reversed, the Texas champion has been vocal about “One Time’ not being a priority.
Then there is the WBO champion, and this isn’t the first time Thurman floated the idea of a fight. However, believing that Thurman was clout chasing, Crawford responded on social media telling him to ” SHUT YO ASS UP.”
It seems the former unified champion has no intention on being quiet.
3kingsboxing was able to verify statements Thurman made during an upcoming interview on The Last Stand Podcast, which is scheduled to be posted Tuesday, August 18. Host Brain Custer asked One Time who he would want to fight more between Spence and Crawford.
“Right now I want Crawford more man, he’s gotten under my skin. Errol, that’s a timeline issue.”
“This Crawford dude, send me a contract bro, don’t act like I’m going to run from you.”
“You never weighed 147, you never got respect in the game anyway at 147.”
