Dubois Won’t Phase Usyk At All with his Rematch Antics

It seems that two-time heavyweight champion Daniel “Dynamite” Dubois is trying to play the bad guy in his upcoming fight on July with former undisputed champ Oleksandr Usyk, for promotional purposes.

During a face-off between the two champions, Dynamite not only pushed Usyk but proceeded to call the Ukrainian a pussy. To his credit, the two-divisional undisputed champion laughed it off like it was nothing. Several fans took to social media, calling Dubois’ move weak. Especially considering how he mentally checked out in their first encounter.

It will be their second matchup, as the first was a one-sided beating that lasted nine rounds. However, Team Dubois continues to focus on a controversial low blow that he landed that sent Usyk to the canvas.

Honestly, if the punch was legal and the referee counted it as a knockdown, Usyk undoubtedly would have gotten up to finish the fight. In the end, Team Dubois needs to stop acting as if that one moment cost them a victory.
