Travell Mazion dies in car crash at 24
Rising junior middleweight prospect Travell “Black Magic” Mazion (17-0, 13KOs) has died after being involved in a car crash in Austin, Texas. Mazion, who fought under the Golden Boy Promotions banner, last fought in January.
He stopped Fernando Castaneda (26-14-1, 17KOs) in one round to win the vacant NABF junior middleweight title.
Born and raised in Austin, the 24 year-old displayed solid skills to go along with an excellent jab and good punching power.
