Caleb Truax returns as a light-heavyweight with a victory
Fighting as a light-heavyweight, former IBF super-middleweight champion Caleb Truax (30-4-2, 19 KOs) returned against Fabiano Pena (15-11-1, 11 KOs) in his hometown of Minneapolis. The contest was stopped in the third round when Pena was deemed unable to continue.
Traux shocked the boxing community in 2017 with a majority decision victory over James DeGale. It was here he would earn the first world title of his career. Although, he would later lose the title in a rematch.
The top 10 rated 34 year old fighter is still relevant in the boxing community. This return fight at light-heavyweight could signal a move up. In an already stacked light-heavyweight division, the addition of Truax adds even more possible match-ups; provided he stays at this weight.
