The consensus number one and two ranked heavyweights in boxing will be taking their talents to the octagon! Well…at least virtually! It was recently announced that unified heavyweight champion Anthony “Aj” Joshua (23-1, 21KOs) and WBC champion Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury (30-0-1, 21KOs) will both be playable characters in the upcoming UFC 4 game.

August 14 is the set release date of the EA Sports product.

Joshua is a two-time unified champion and a huge star in the UK. Additionally, he has built a respectable name in worldwide. Many view him as the best active heavyweight in the business. This due primarily because of his resume and accolades.

Fury boasts a comeback story that has gained the respect of not only the UK fans but worldwide. His dominating stoppage win over former WBC champion Deontay Wilder in February capped off a remarkable comeback story. Many view the 6’9″ giant as the most skilled active heavyweight.

With success comes major opportunities! To be selected as “crossover” fighters says a lot about how the UFC respects these two champs!

However, with boxing fans itching to get another boxing game made, will they be OK with settling with playable champions in a UFC game for the time being?
