Usyk vs Bellew Set For November 10

Usyk to fight Bellew in November

Earlier this morning, promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sports announced on twitter that undisputed Cruiserweight champion Oleksander Usyk will return to the ring on November 10. He will face-off against Tony Bellew at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The bout will broadcast on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK and on DAZN in the United States.

A former WBC Cruiserweight champion, Tony Bellew (30-2-1, 20 KOs) moved up to heavyweight for two big money fights against David Haye. Having won both bouts, he will be returning to cruiserweight to challenge Usyk.

For his part, Oleksandr Usyk (15-0, 11 KOs) is on a roll. He has spent the last year participating in the WBSS Cruiserweight tournament and has managed to unify all four world titles in the process. Not only is Usyk the only undisputed world champion in the sport right now, he has established himself as one of the best fighters in the world pound-for-pound.

This fight with Bellew comes at the perfect time for both fighters. This is arguably the biggest bout in the history of the cruiserweight division and is a great way to close out the year.
All boxing fans really want are great fights; the best fighting the best. Usyk versus Bellew certainly meets that criteria, giving us everything that we as boxing fans want. November 10th can’t get here soon enough!
