Jessie Vargas has an opponent for October 6.
3kingsboxing.com has learned that Jessie Vargas vs Thomas Durlome will be the headline for the inaugural U.S DAZN fight card in Chicago.
At one time it was speculated Vargas would face Adrien Granados. In Durlome, he’ll be facing a better skilled yet less durable foe then what may have been the case against Granados.
Durlome (24-3, 16 KOs) was recently released from his contract by Mayweather Promotions. He’s coming off a decision loss to Yordenis Ugas.
Once a highly touted prospect, Durlome has been somewhat of a disappointment over the last three years.
However, he has a chance to pull off a mild upset when he locks horns with Vargas.
