Kevin Ventura wins a tough unanimous decision over Eduardo Reyes!
The 22 year-old undefeated lightweight prospect and stablemate of WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford, started the fight well landing the right hand at will.
After appearing ready to take a knee in the second round, Reyes battled back in the closing seconds.
That momentum would carry over to the third round, as he took the fight to his opponent; throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him.
That success however would cease in the later rounds as Ventura was able to settle back down and reclaim control of the fight.
He would go on to win a unanimous decision. The official scorecards turned in were 59-54 (x2) and 58-55.
He improves his record to 10-0 with 8 knockouts!
