Vito Mielnicki Defeats Laszlo Toth By Questionable Disqualification
Junior middleweight contender Vito “White Magic” Mielnicki Jr (19-1, 13KO) short-circuited Lasszlo Tothzlo Toth (32-9-2, 20KO) in two quick rounds.
White Magic was in attack mode when the bell sounded by landing thudding right hands and hooks. His counter-punching was on point, as the New Jersey native couldn’t miss with that right hand.
Mielnicki landed a beautiful left hook that almost dropped the tough veteran. Going into the second round, he continued the onslaught before landing a picture-perfect counter left hook that put Toth on the canvas.
As Toth got up wobbling, his corner stepped into the ring, resulting in the referee calling the fight disqualification. Boxing fans will argue whether it should be considered a knockout.
Ranked #3 by the WBA Mielnicki is making a march towards a title shot. During the in-ring post-fight interview, he has no problem calling out fellow stablemate and top contender Xander Zayas.
According to Mielnicki, the Puerto Rican kept calling him out. That is a good fight featuring two young talented fighters that could take place in 2025.
