HBO picks up American rights to heavyweight bout
Looks like A heavyweight showdown is coming to American TV as HBO just picked up Dillian Whyte vs Lucas Browne, coverage will begin at noon EST.
The fight itself will be at that O2 Arena in London, England. Whyte is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Robert Helenius.
Browne, who is undefeated is coming off a knockout victory over Matthew Greer.
It’s a heavyweight showdown but it also signals that HBO is in play for the American TV rights to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Promotional Company.
