Ammo Williams Quickly Dispatches of Chordale Booker!
Out of the Matchroom Boxing stable, middleweight prospect Austin “Ammo” Williams (11-0, 9 KO’s) successfully kept his perfect record in pristine condition following his latest contest. In that duel, Williams pitted his will and might against the previously undefeated Chordale “The Gift” Booker (17-1, 7 KO’s). In this first bout against an undefeated fighter, Ammo collected a first round knockout, extending his current streak to three.
Before Booker, Williams, 25, quickly bushwhacked then scalped Javier Maciel and Quatavious Cash. With the win over The Gift, Ammo will hope to finally find himself placed in the top securing the matches that he has professed that he is looking for. The hungry young boxer has already had occasion to call out UK fighters Anthony Fowler and Billie Joe Saunders. So let’s see what’s up for him next.
ONE-SIDED DOMINATION
Over the first ninety seconds of the fight, Williams and Booker felt one another out without doing anything overly dramatic. During that time though, it was Ammo who took the lead and functioned as the ring general. About the halfway mark of the period, Williams began finding a home for his left hand and hook in particular.
While no one single punch landed that seriously impaired Booker, the barrage of blows that Ammo began connecting with was certainly giving The Gift problems. Caught along the ring straps with an extended volley of punches, Booker was actually pushed slightly through the ropes. Once back in the ring and on his feet, the previously undefeated fighter swayed badly looking like the poster boy for drunk drivers. His clear inability to stabilize himself resulted in the fight quickly being waived off, awarding Williams his eleventh professional win.
