Abdullah Mason Targeting Four Fights in 2024

When last conducting his fistic trade, red hot lightweight prospect Abdullah Mason (12-0, 10 KO’S) secured his latest win in spectacular fashion. In that prizefight, Mason obliterated Benjamin Gurment in a clinical first-round dissection. In fact, the Cleveland, Ohio native was the first to mar the previously undefeated fighter’s professional resume. With that encounter now in his rear view mirror, Mason would love to stage another busy year in 2024 as he accomplished in 2023.

Last year, the talented prospect fought five times and collected four stoppage wins. While providing a brief Q&A with Fight Hype, Mason gave a bit more insight on his thoughts for the remainder of the year.

“Just as active as last year and the one before, inshallah, so we can keep it rolling. Eight rounders – that was my first eight rounder. I feel great, so we right back real soon! I will announce my date real soon and we are right, right back. Hopefully [three fights], probably four.”

GOT TO WEAR SHADES

Trained by his father Valiant Mason, Abdullah Mason, one Cleveland’s well known five Mason Brothers quintet, hit the ground running as a professional. From the very start, his crisp skills and polished performances garnered the attention of knowledgeable boxing insiders. This included the co-sign and high praise from leading boxing figure Floyd Mayweather Sr.. Mason’s skillset and future potential also led to him signing a contract with boxing promotional powerhouse Top Rank.

With his decorated amateur career, sizzling professional knockouts and influential promotional team, the future looks exceedingly bright for Mason. So stay tuned to 3Kings Boxing for all the latest and notable updates with this promising young fighter.

“Like I always say and I been asking whenever somebody ask me who I got next or who I see myself in the ring with, boxing will determine who I step in the ring with in the future. So when I get there, I am ready for those twelve-round fights and world championships. Whoever is at the top, whoever is ranked number one, whoever my mandatories are, whoever I am the mandatory for, I will be prepared for it. When I step in there, I will get the job done, inshallah.”
