Ajagba destroys another opponent with one big punch!
Efe Ajagba vs Nick Jones: Two undefeated hard-hitting prospects almost always generates pre-fight excitement.
This bout came a month after Ajagba was the victim of controversy on live television. His opponent Curtis Harper walked out of the ring as the bell sounded to start the first round.
Many who had no idea who Ajagba was now wanted to see what he was all about.
In round one the Nigerian started off landing heavy jabs utilizing his eight-inch reach advantage. Then in 2:25 into the round, he finished things with a feint followed by a vicious righthand.
The shot dropped Jones who appeared to make the count but the referee opted to stop the fight anyway.
In seven fights, he has now recorded six first round knockout wins. The lone non-first rounder was a fifth round stoppage.
