Lyndon Arthur Decisions Bradley Rea; Ezra Taylor Wants Next

In a light heavyweight showdown for the EBU crown, Lyndon “King” Arthur (25-3, 16KO) defeat Bradley “The Sting” Rea (21-2, 10KO) by majority decision. Next up, he could be facing Ezra “The Cannon” Taylor (13-0, 9KO).

The fight started fast as both men looked to land hard shots early. King was effective with that lethal jab, which had the left eye of Rea swollen fast. However, The Sting turned things around with a thunderous left hook, putting Arthur on the canvas. He continued to come forward with fast combination punches.

Arthur controlled the rest of the fight with straight right hands and uppercuts. Rea was reduced to following him around the ring, taking the same punches repeatedly. One judge scored it 114-114, with the other two cards reading 115-113 and 115-112.

During the intermission, The Cannon made it clear that he wants the winner. The undefeated fighter is coming off an impressive victory over Steed Woodall on October 25. In addition, his footwork and work-rate could be a problem for the recently crowned EBU titlist.

If this fight happens, Arthur, being the more experienced fighter, should be the favorite.
