Conor Benn Resumes his Hunt for Chris Eubank Jr.!
In his last tour of duty, UK welterweight Conor “The Destroyer” Benn (22-0, 14 KO’s) bested Rodolfo Orozco by way of unanimous decision. The win snapped roughly a year and a half of inactivity spurred by a lengthy investigation of supposed illicit drug use. Now that The Destroyer has been exonerated, he has resumed antagonizing Chris Eubank Jr. (33-3, 24 KO’s), who he was slated to face when he was first submerged under the sticky PED’s investigation.
Back in the win column, Benn is making it clear that he is still very interested in and thinking about Eubank Jr.
NO TIME LIKE NOW!
It will be interesting to see how Eubank Jr. reacts to the hostility. For his part, Eubank Jr. is coming off a successful knockout win over Liam Smith. Given his temperament, Junior is likely to be very receptive to a duel with Benn. Not only is this an established rivalry, it’s a very big showdown for the UK crowd to get excited about. Even better, if both sides are game, this could be a match that can be contested before the end of the year.
So let’s see what happens between the two camps as this could realistically happen sooner rather than later. Thankfully, no matter how it plays out, 3Kings Boxing will be here to keep you plugged in with the latest developments,
