Artur Beterbiev signs contract to face Oleaksandr Gvozdyk date set for October 18!
IBF light heavyweight chammpion Artur Beterbiev (14-0, 14KOs) revealed he has signed his portion of the contract to face WBC champion Oleaksandr Gvozdyk in a unification bout. He also revealed that the fight will take place October 18 in the USA.
3kingsboxing.com previously reported this fight was in the works for the fall with a venue and date TBD.
Beterbiev is coming off a fifth round knockout of Radivoje Kalajdzic on May 4; a fight that was televised on ESPN. Having knocked out all fourteen of his previous opponents, Beterbiev is seen as one of the hardest punchers in the sport.
In addition, he is the only active champion with a perfect knockout percentage!
