Bill Haney and Adrien Broner Have a War Of Words!
Trainer Bill Haney and four-divisional champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner (35-4-1, 24KO) got into a heated exchange on social media. Things got so intense that Haney warned Broner that his son, WBC junior welterweight champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (31-0, 15KO), will be looking for him.
It all started when The Problem took to social media questioning the elder Haney’s abilities as a trainer. There is a history between the two camps that goes back to their days at the Mayweather Boxing Gym.
A NEW POTENTIAL CHALLENGER EMERGES
While on a live feed, Broner and Haney discussed the famous sparring session featuring Gervonta Davis and the WBC champion. After exchanging heavy insults, the four-division champion and the elder Haney introduced the possibility of Broner versus The Dream.
“Ryan is going through some problems, right? Y’all fight me. We be ready, that’s what you do, you bitch ass nigga. Ryan going through some mental problems, nigga. Y’all fight me, you bitch ass nigga.”
Adrien Broner
“If my son hears what you said, you know he gonna beat your ass . . . my son is coming for you, AB. My son is coming for you, nigga, and it’s going to be your last payday.”
“Ryan, if you don’t show up, it’s AB next.”
Bill Haney
Broner was trying to score a fight with The Dream earlier in the year. However, the fight never materialized, and Team Haney is set to fight top contender Ryan Garcia on April 20. However, the Californian’s erratic behavior has fans believing he could be on the verge of pulling out of the fight.
It is worth mentioning that Garcia has taken to social media to insure fans the fight will take place as planned.
