Billy Joe Saunders fined and has suspension lifted
Following his most recent hearing before the British Boxing Board of Control (BBB of C), WBO world super middleweight champion “Superb” Billy Joe Saunders (29-0, 14 KO’s) is back in action. The radically unpredictable pugilist had to answer to the BBB of C for his most recent social media transgression aimed at Chris Eubank Jr’s (29-2, 22 KO’s) mother. His suspension was already in effect at the time of the hearing’s mandate.
World Boxing News reported that, by the end of the hearing, the BBB of C found Saunders guilty of misconduct. He will need to pay a £15,000 fine which will go out as a donation to various charities. Outside of the fine, his boxing suspension was lifted and Superb is now free to resume his boxing career.
