Seniesa Estrada Slated For July Ring-Return to Headline a Top Rank Card

Unified minimumweight champion Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada (24-0, 9 KOs) is one of the best women’s fighters in the world. According to her promoter, Bob Arum, her next fight is being lined up and she will return to the ring this summer.

Arum is the CEO and founder of Top Rank. During an interview with Ringside Reporter Live, he gave some insight into exactly when Estrada will fight again.

“We have her slated to fight in July as a main event, or semi-main event. She’s a real superstar, a terrific fighter . . . She’s definitely fighting in July. I don’t know what date it is, but it’s either the 22 or the 29. But she’s on the board.”

In Estrada’s last outing in March 2023, she scored a unanimous decision win over Tina Rupprecht to become the unified champion. Following that victory, Super Bad said that her goal is to become undisputed at 105.

That chance could come in July. Word on the street is that preliminary discussions have taken place for a fight between Estrada and the other minimumweight unified champion, Yokasta Valle (28-2, 9 KOs). Estrada and Valle have been calling for a fight with one another and have done plenty of trash-talking toward each other.

Another possible matchup for Estrada is a fight at 108 against the reigning unified junior flyweight champion Jessica Nery Plata (29-2, 3 KOs). The 108-pound champion from Mexico has stated a strong interest in coming to the United States to fight Super Bad.

It’s clear Seniesa Estrada is becoming the centerpiece of the lower-weight divisions. The fighter from Los Angeles has plenty of excellent matchups available. It will be interesting to see what Top Rank has in store for her upcoming fight.
